WHAT IS TIMING?

Astrology asks us to think differently about time. Beyond the steady tick of clocks and calendars, astrologers have long imagined a world where time possesses texture, resonance, and multiplicity. In this opening workshop, we’ll explore how earlier astrologers understood the unfolding of time and how astrological techniques convert celestial motion into measures of human life—where one degree can equal a year, and a single day after birth can mirror an entire year decades later. These symbolic mappings invite us to see time not as a linear flow but as a fabric of correspondences, where past and future echo through one another.

Alongside these ideas, we’ll take up the strange but vital problem of prediction. We’ll learn what a timelord is and how to identify its natal promise. This course serves as a crucial primer for anyone ready to dive more deeply into traditional technique.
