Through the Bounds: Distributions/ Circumambulations

In this workshop, we’ll explore the ancient art of distributions through the bounds – sometimes called circumambulations – one of the most beautiful and precise symbolic timing systems in the tradition. These methods trace how the Ascendant (or other points) moves through the zodiacal bounds, defining distinct chapters of life ruled by two distinct timelords. Together, those timelords map a continuous story of life’s unfolding.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the foundations of the technique as laid out by 2nd-century astrologer Dorotheus of Sidon and 9th-century astrologer Abu Ma’Shar. We’ll learn how to identify the two timelords, how to interpret their combinations, and how to integrate the technique into your astrological practice.

Each week includes readings, pre-recorded lectures, and a live Zoom meeting for discussion and Q&A.
